Nasca Car
Elder statesmen of the japanese electro scene, having been together since 1994, Nasca Car combine quirky retro samples with spacey futuristic electronic elements to create a whimsical, eccentric yet somehow strangely nostalgic sound. They possess a certain crossover appeal, appealing to fans not usually taken with this style of music. Imagine if you can, a cross between Worlds End Girlfriend and Melonman those are the closest musical parallels I can come up with but even they aren’t that close. Members of Nasca Car have also participated in other bands on the side such as Suspiria and Spoozys.
